"I'm going on an adventure", said Bilbo, dreaming of mountains and dragons.
My adventure is quite different, yet as scary.
Let's try and knit socks!

Joining in with Abi over at Creating Paper Dreams for A photo & 20 words. Sort of a day late, but let's ignore that fact. Also, her blog is awesome.
A perfectly Bilbo coloured skein of yarn, I think!
ReplyDeleteI've never knitted socks, but that self striping wool i did the baby blankets with at the beginning of the summer got me thinking about it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes with you
Dragons definitely go with knitted socks in my opinion. Scary scary stuff! I drop stitches far too often to consider doing anything more than a scarf! You are very talented!
ReplyDeletewe'll see how it goes haha. and i think YOU are very talented, sewing your clothes is amazing!!
DeleteThat wool is going to make gorgeous socks.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful wool - it really deserves to be seen! My very talented Mum used to knit socks on a circular needle - wishing you lots of success and keep us posted on progress!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty yarn!
ReplyDeleteWow, that yarn is gorgeous! I hope you're not knitting socks in Bilbo's shoe size! :P
ReplyDeleteI want to say "hobbits actually don't wear shoes" but that would sound very nerdy haha
DeleteLovely yarn..!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colours are in that yarn. It will make fabulous socks.
ReplyDeletesuper colours. Good luck with the socks - as a slow knitter I prefer chunky projects (but still love to admire fine gauge yarns.....)
