This is not exactly my story, but you know how it is with books, you start reading them and all of a sudden you get lost, start flying with the birds, studying witchcrafts at Hogwarts and living in the wild. it's magic.

ReplyDeleteI think getting lost in a book is one of the best things in the world. That is partly why I love teaching. Getting children into reading and showing them all the worlds that await them is just magical!
ReplyDeleteSo many magical places to explore in books and life.
ReplyDeleteI miss the real forest of Europe... but I'd rather be lost in a book than lost in the woods! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this perspective and have always loved the quote :)

ReplyDeleteP.S. thanks for the sweet comment on my blog
On of my favourite Thoreau quotes - I've been in the woods surrounding Walden pond - sadly no longer that pristine. But I love the ideas behind it - and losing myself in a book is still a favourite thing to do :)
